Historical Site
The Central Overland Pony Express passed this site many times. Green Valley Road was the gateway to the gold region, and was the center of activities in the 1850's & 60's, where many early California Inns were located. In the late 1800's a stagecoach, driven by 13 year old Fred Dixon, a member of the Dixon family who were former owners of the property, also passed this way.HM Number | HM7A4 |
